| Food | Brunch @ Lost & Found

After seeing delicious looking pictures being uploaded onto Lost & Found‘s social media channels we decided we had to return for brunch!
They had a few drink specials on and a pancake special, I saw the Matcha pancakes the day before and already knew I was gonna get them. The menu includes topped toast and pancakes. The pancakes can be made vegan too.
What better way to start a Sunday than with a mega vegan hot chocolate?! For £6.00 it was quite pricey for a hot choc but deffo worth it. I was worried I’d feel full/sickly after it but it wasn’t overly sweet so I could still manage my pancakes. It was topped with giant toasted marshmallows, millionaires shortbread & rocky road pieces, mini marshmallows and a caramel rim with crunchy pieces. Oh, and a rocky road chunk at the bottom which was a good surprise. It’s limited edition but hopefully they’ll always have it!
My pancakes were Matcha pancakes with lychee compote, star fruit, dragon fruit, kiwi and matcha dust. Amazing! They were light, fluffy and delicious. They weren’t overly sweet or heavy either. Towards the end I did begin to struggle though.
My parents both got the Streaky bacon pancakes with maple syrup.
They both really enjoyed them too and felt very full. We did plan to each have a round of pancakes and then get another stack to share for “dessert” (greed) but none of us could manage!
We all love Lost & Found and are really grateful to have such good independent restaurants and cafes so close to where we live. We definitely want to go and try their main menu too. A good thing is they have a selection of vegan and non-vegan dishes so there is a choice for whatever lifestyle you follow!

  1. I’ve seen so many amazing photos of the brunch from here and we almost made it there last week but in the end opted for The Postbox instead … next time for sure! The food looks so so good!
